California Law has expanded the rights of current and former employees. to inspect their personnel files. This may seem like a mundane matter, until employers realize that a request to inspect an employee’s personnel file is often the first indication that a lawsuit may be coming.

MANDATORY SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION TRAINING (Petaluma Chamber)

Friday, October 25, 2019 – 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

RegisterHERE – Supervisors 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.   HERE – Non-Supervisors 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

By January 1, 2021, all employers with five or more employees must provide at least 1 hour of harassment prevention training to all employees, and 2 hours to supervisors. The Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Jay G. Putnam, Attorney at Law, to offer Chamber members and non-members affordable mandatory sexual harassment training.
